REGION 10 WINTER WEATHER PROCEDURES: Delayed Openings & Early Dismissal

As winter approaches, the possibility exists for storms that would require the Superintendent to announce a delayed opening or an early dismissal.  Please note the following schedule changes that would occur in the case of these events:


2 HOUR DELAYED OPENING DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER:

  • No A.M. Preschool
  • PM Preschool:  12:45 pm – 3:35 pm
  • K – 4 School hours:  11:05 a.m. – 3:35 p.m.

 

1:00 EARLY DISMISSAL:

  • A.M. Preschool hours:  9:05 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
  • P.M. Preschool hours: 11:20 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • K – 4 School hours: 9:05 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.



EARLY DISMISSAL DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER:

PRESCHOOL:

  • No P.M. Preschool
  • A.M. Preschool:
  • Students that are transported by a parent/guardian are dismissed at 11:55.

  • Students that ride District transportation are served a cafeteria lunch free of charge and dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

  • Unless otherwise requested by a parent, students will go to a normal scheduled drop-off destination via their regularly scheduled mode of transportation with all other grades at 1:00.

GRADES K - 4

  • School hours: 9:05 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
  • Unless otherwise requested by a parent, students will go to their normal scheduled drop-off destination via their regularly scheduled mode of transportation at 1:00.
