First Grade is a big year for young learners! We are taking flight and becoming independent thinkers and responsible classroom citizens. 

Lessons From a Flock of Geese:

1. Perseverance - Geese can fly up to 1,500 miles per day.

2. Cooperation- Geese work together in their v-shape to travel further and faster.

3. Encouragement-Geese will honk to encourage each other to keep flying.

4. Compassion- Geese will wait for members of their flock.
