My name is Julia McKenna and this is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten at HCS. My official teaching career started in my hometown of Watertown where I first taught First grade and Kindergarten. I also had the pleasure of teaching Preschool for three years after my undergrad. I love working with children and feel very lucky to be working in such a supportive and collaborative school, such as HCS! My husband and I bought our first home in Canton in 2017 after the birth of our son, Aedan on May 31, 2017. In my spare time I enjoy being outside, especially during the summer when I can go kayaking, hiking, swimming, and attend tag sales & flea markets! I loved sports growing up and played softball, basketball, and swam as a child and adolescent. I also really love traveling, cooking & baking, reading, arts & crafts, movies, and entertaining.
