Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Pease

Hello, my name is Dawn Pease. This is my 9th year teaching at Harwinton Consolidated School. I am a special education teacher working primarily with 3rd and 4th grade students. Prior to teaching at HCS, I taught for 13 years at the Northwest Village School of Wheeler Clinic where I  had previously been a teaching assistant for 8 years while I attended college.

I graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, MA with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and social rehabilitation. I knew upon graduating that I wanted to teach special education so I immediately returned to school to pursue my special education certification, this time attending Central Connecticut State University. I eventually continued on to obtain a master's degree in special education.

I am super excited to currently be teaching in the district that I attended K-12 in! I attended Lake Garda, Har-Bur and Lewis Mills. Coincidentally, my husband attend HCS, Har-Bur and Lewis Mills.
